Desmond hosted his 21st dinner at Dozo, a french-jap fusion fine dining restaurant, last sunday.
when he told us it was at Valley Point, we all had no idea where it was.
hadnt even heard of that place!
but omg, that restaurant is like uber atas. love the settings.
he managed to get a room to sit all 9 of us.

pretty rightttt.

i met veekay karen yx and peirong at orchard first before heading down.
and we somehow managed to get ourselves lost.
sooo er we were late.
poor desmond allan and yawen had to wait for us.
and that's our birthday boy still recovering from his massive hangover.

the waiter told us to all give the birthday boy a kiss.

well, more like a peck. literally.

and if ure wondering, the cups that karen and yx were holding in the first pic are crab bisque, meant to be drank ala a cup of cuppucino.

my words are so not going to justify the gastronomy journey, neither are the pictures which all turned out a lil blurry.

but still... you may need a napkin. really.

Karen's cold dish - beef tataki with shaved parmesan and truffle mayo mosaic

Peirong's cold dish - Smoked duck breast on bed of greens with cranberry vanetta.

Peirong's main - Herbs braised lamb shank.

Japanese mochi served with redbean and icecream.

Black sesame panna cotta.

Mango shooters for us to cleanse our palates.

smoked salmon, scallop with foam and foiegras on some biscuit thingy.

Cold Dish - Sashimi Platter.

salmon, herring, ika and ebi.

OMG this was super good.

Foie Gras Chawanmushi with Black Truffle Slice.

Infusion of cepes mushroom and truffles.

that black piece of thing on the spoon is truffle.

was told to suck on it and let the taste linger on our tongue.

Main - Baked Atlantic cod fillet on puff pastry.
